Product with lots of sizes display as list

Hi

I have a lot products that have a lot different sizes and configurations. Example
Spare Parts \ Accessories \ V-Belt (which is the "product" in my sense). Now for a V-Belt, you get about 60 different sizes, each with their own price. So you will have a list like:
A123/1234 | 13x8x720 A27 | $10
A123/1235 | 13x8x750 A28 | $12
A123/1236 | 13x8x780 A29 | $15
etc. etc.....

I want to setup my shop in order that each size, is a different product, but I don't want it to be seen as different products. The V-Belt has got the description, picture etc. In other words the client will go to V-Belts, and here they will see a list of all the "sizes", where they can add one or many, and different quantities, of the sizes to the cart, and at the top of the list the picture and description of the V-Belt. I don't want the clients to be able to then further click on a size, because all the detail they need is already in front of them.
I hope this makes sense and that I explained this ok.

Setting up the main "product" as a subcategory with image and description will be easy. You will want Configuration > Product Listing >
Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product) ->set to 0
Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location ->set to 1, 2 or 3 as desired.

Disabling the click-through will be more work, as some of the links are complex in their coding to cover numerous situations.
You would start in /includes/modules/your_template/product_listing.php.

I was afraid of that. I already did it that way, but the challenge now is to change the listings, links as you said, etc.
Any other ideas out there?
