Site selling services, very basic setup?

I am new to the whole shopping cart thing, but I have made a few basic static sites before and have a very basic understanding of php,javascript,& html. I have zen cart installed on my local wamp server and have played around within zencart for a few days now trying to get familar with it.

I need to make a site that only sells 5 services, thats it, no shipping required and I will just use paypal to handle payments. Should be a pretty basic site.

Is this to basic for zencart? Can someone point me in the correct direction? Maybe a basic template, i dont know?

Any help would be GREAT! Thanks in advance!

PS. I plan on buying the book but until then I would like to get started!

Hi and Welcome to the Forum.

What you mention sounds a lot like this site. They only sell 4 Products at the moment and a lot of features within Zen Cart are not being used. All of which were turned off through the Admin section.

Your biggest challenge is to get a custom Theme happening, if you don't want to use the Default one. Time & cost would depend upon importing a Template you already use into Zen Cart, such as the site mentioned, or whether creating a Template from scratch.

After that, everything you need to do can be done through Zen Cart.
