Linking Issue

Thank you in advance for any info you can provide on this problem

When an item is added to my store's cart, the cart sidebox appears on the top right of the page, showing the item you added to the cart. If you try to click one of these links it is broken. The reason for this is because of some added gibberish to the URL, kinda like this:

http://www.dojodirect.com/index.php?...roducts_id=334:ad320ec02f578a58d85a634e8346ebc6

I dont know why that last bit is being added, but I need to get rid of it.

This problem also occurs on the product links on "The Shopping Cart" page.

To recreate the problem:
Go to http://www.dojodirect.com
Add any item to the cart.
Click on the link created in the cart sidebox on the right.

Are you using the stock shopping cart box? What version of Zen Cart?

BTW- the "gibberish' is what tells the program which attribute you have chosen.

Hi,

I seem to recall that the 'SEO' URLs mod causes issues with attributes. First thing I would try is removing that mod and seeing if it fixes the problem.

Kim, I am using the stock shopping cart box, and zen cart version: v1.3.7.1

CJPinder I just turned off SEO URLS and that fixed it, however I'd like to continue using that mod, I will search for a work around.

The 'SEO' URL mods are more trouble than they are worth. They do not improve search engine rankings, tend to break parts of Zen Cart and complicate upgrades.
