Re-structure home page

I really like the home page layout of this page - http://www.flyjumperstore.com/home.php

Is this a bit ambitious?

I just want to have a box like effect on the home page promoting stuff...
any clues? pointers on how to do this?

The middle part is just graphics and html which can be inserted into the home page via the define pages portion of the admin Tools menu.

The side boxes can be created using the /includes/template/yourtemplate/css/stylesheet.css file.

You just have to learn a bit of css.
