Default 1.3.8 Upgrade: Paypal Pro not taking cards on-site for us

I've scoured the forums for the answer to no avail. We've anxiously anticipated Paypal Payments Pro for Zen's 1.3.8 release. After the upgrade, even after removing and re-installing
    -Paypal Payments Standard module
    -Paypal Payments Pro module
    -Paypal Payments Express module

All three options take the user to a paypal login, then paypal purchase page. Paypal Pro is supposed to allow for the customer to enter credit card information without leaving the shopping cart, and have Paypal process the card. This is also supposed to alleviate the buyer from having to sign up for a Paypal account.

    Example Cart:
    http://www.unirugs.com/zen_new/
(Currently Paypal Express and Payments Pro modules are enabled and are both version 1.3.8).

I couldn't find this issue on any other threads. Please advise. Thank you.

Website Payments Pro presents credit-card input fields on the payment page for the customer to enter their credit card payment details.

To use it, just fill in the credit card details. Don't choose a "PayPal" method during checkout. Just use the CC fields.

    Thanks for the quick response!
But the thing is though; when I enable the payments pro module (with express module) I only get the radio button only that reads: "Checkout with PayPal. The safer, easier way to pay. "
When I view source, it shows the field name as "paypalwpp", but no card fields below that radio button.

Then you probably have set a "Payment Zone", which restricts the module to certain geographic regions.

    Set it to '--none--'

I double checked and the Payments Pro module config is as such:
    Enable this Payment Module
    True

    Sort order of display.
    2

    Payment Zone
    --none--

    Set Order Status
    Processing [2]

    Set Unpaid Order Status
    Pending [1]

    Payment Action
    Final Sale

    Transaction Currency
    Only USD

    PayPal Mode
    PayPal

    Live or Sandbox

    live

    Debug Mode
    Off

The Paypal Express Module config (all but personal data) is:

    Enable this Payment Module
    True

    Sort order of display.
    1

    Payment Zone
    --none--

    Set Order Status
    Processing [2]

    Set Unpaid Order Status
    Pending [1]

    Set Refund Order Status
    Pending [1]

    Express Checkout: Require Confirmed Address
    No

Express Checkout: Select Cheapest Shipping Automatically
    Yes

    Express Checkout: Skip Payment Page
    Yes

    Express Checkout: Automatic Account Creation
    Yes

    Payment Action
    Final Sale

    Transaction Currency
    Selected Currency

    PayPal Page Style
    Primary

I'll try debug mode. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a cURL issue right? It's a hostgator account if that raises any flags.

We certainly appreciate your toubleshooting help.

No, it wouldn't be a CURL issue ... because no external communications is happening just to draw the input fields on the checkout_payment page.

    What addons/contributions are installed?

Have you customized any template files? Which ones? In what way?
