Firefox (great) --- IE (aaahhh)

Ok I seem to getting all the issues on IE as Firefox displays perfectly. One im stuck on and spent ages trying to figure out is white space just below the HOME ¦ LOGIN in IE. Ive searched through loads of threads and tried several changes but to no success. Im sure its something int he TPL_Header.php I need to change but cant work it out...

Basically.. FIREFOX...

AS you can see the IE image is showing a bit too much whitespace, but Firefox is nicely aligned how I wanted it.

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated
