    Default Categories and Attributes

    Two questions:

    1) Is there a way to move a product to a new category? I've only been able to delete and re-create them, but I'd like to be able to just move a product from one existing category to another.

    2) is there a way to assign more than one Option Value to an Option name at a time? I'm selling candles, and I have a "Fragrance" Option Name and numerous Values (Vanilla, Cinnamon, cherry, etc). Right now, I only know how to select fragrance, select cinnamon, and select Insert on the Attributes controller. I wish I could hold down shift or ctrl to select more than one at a time so I don't have to add my 50 fragrances one at a time whenever I add a new product.

    Thanks in advance!!

When you go into the category in your admin, to the far right of the product names, there'll be a series of disks. Click on the blue one with the C in it. You'll be able to copy (duplicate), link or move the product to another category.

From Admin > Options Values Manager
Copy Option Name/Value to Products with existing Option Name...
Select an Option Name and Value that currently exists on a product or products to add to all products or to only the products in the selected category that have the selected Option Name.
Example: Add Option Name: Color Option Value: Red to all Products with Option Name: Size
Example: Add Option Name: Color Option Value: Green with default values from Products ID: 34 to all Products with Option Name: Size
Example: Add Option Name: Color Option Value: Green with default values from Products ID: 34 to all Products with Option Name: Size for Categories ID: 65
