Text Box Attribute - How To?

Finally I am having some success with Attributes [{{{IdeaGirl}}}]
BUT the snag is Text Boxes.
Since I think in pictures I have tried to explain with them for your assistance.
There is no option to apply a Text Attribute to a Product. What am I doing wrong?

That's because a "text option" is that, a field to write something in it; you don't need to write "options" for it. When setting the option name, you have the options there to set up how long do you want it, etc.
