I am glad that you can tell that ...Looking at your view source, I see that you are using the generated filenames to code background images, not foreground images. There is really no need to do this. I of course can not tell this (novice you know). ;-)

I believe I currently have one image (a set of 4 images) for each page I want to switch. Currently the only page is about_us.
