Questions regarding paypal

I want to start off by saying that I have site ground as web host, Zen Cart 1.3.7.1, and I am planning to use Paypal's Website Payments Standard.

Ok, I have a few questions. As I stated earlier I am planning to implement the Website Payments Standard through Paypal. On the Paypal website it stated that I have add buttons to my website. For example "Add to Cart or Buy Now buttons. They also give you codes so you can paste and copy them on your website. I am just wondering am I suppose to do that because I did a little test and when I clicked on the "go to checkout" I do see the paypal's check out buttons and also options to pay with paypal. Also if I have to copy and paste paypal buttons to the website where do I put it in the files.

I also wanted to add that when I do click on the paypal's check out button I get a blank screen. So I am lost and stuck on confused:wacko:.

You do not need to use PayPal buttons as Zen Cart is fully integrated with PayPal and works by sending the order details to PayPal for payment.

Thank you for answering my question. That was quick. I have another question. After I clicked on the paypal check out button I get a blank screen. I set up my IPN preferences correctly and put in the API signatures in correctly. I was just wondering why is that going on.
