Default Disabling SSL login for admin post-install?

    Hi there guys,

We've got a client moving servers and we'd like to move the domain over but still be able to log into the old cart, so we can reconcile stock, etc. but currently, when we attempt to visit the admin panel via IP, it refreshes to the domain to log in under SSL.

    1) If I disable secure login for admin, will I be able to log in at the IP?

    2) How do I disable secure admin login?

    thanks,

Change your configure.php file to the IP address instead of the domain.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

    Hi there Kim,

I've done a search/replace on both /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php changing four instances in the admin configure and two in the main configure.php.

In spite of this, when I visit the /admin directory, I get forwarded to the domain name. I tried /shop//admin to force a new page load and it still occurs.

Can you think of something that I'm missing?

    thanks,
