Interesting Inventory problem.

I disabled an item in admin. The next day someone bought that very same item from my zen cart. Razenfrazengrumblegrumble.

I don't know how they found the page, because for the life of me, I can't find it myself in the catalog, and I've confirmed that it is disabled in admin.

I've asked the customer how they found it and am waiting to hear from them.

Any ideas?

Using Zen Cart 1.3.7. Waiting till after Christmas to upgrade.

Test this ...

Login and add an item to the cart ...

Logout ...

Go to Admin and disable item same as before ...

Open a different browser and login ... was the product pulled out of the cart?

Completed test.

Test product was not there when I went to the category, nor when I copied the test products url into a new browser.

So I'm still baffled at how the customer purchased a product that was set as inactive.

You had added it to your cart when logged in ...

And went in with a different browser and logged in and it was gone, correct?

I added the product when logged in as admin.

I didn't login to check it though, since this was a new customer who probably hadn't created an account when he first started browsing.

Oh, and he is a sudo competitor. ha. He too has a backyard birding site, but he's not using ZC. not that that matters.... But I digress.
