Customizing the 'Welcome' and 'Order' emails

Hi,

I would like to customize the "Welcome" and "Order" emails.
However, I've looked in the email html files, the create_account.php and orders.php files and cannot find what I need to customize.

We are going to use html emails.

I would like to include the newly registered users username and password in the welcome email. How do I do this? What variable do I insert into the html to generate this?

I also would like to edit the automatic order email that goes out to the customer after a purchase. What html email governs that?

You can edit the language files to edit the text of the emails. (like includes/languages/english/create_account.php) Make sure to save modified files as your custom template (includes/languages/english/CUSTOM/create_account.php). I haven't played with editing the actual layout or inserting new fields, but I'm sure someone else here can tell you.
