Default Help with installing a contribution

Hello! I'm feeling like a twit

I have downloaded Email_Archive_Manager_1.4 and attempted to install it per the README. I've FTP'd the decompressed folder called Admin to what I *think* is my store root directory (~/pub_html) and just put the entire folder there. Should I be moving the contents of this admin folder to other places or should things just work as is?

    Thanks,
    Mark Ewell

Don't worry, we all started at the beginning, too!

The contents of the admin folder should be going into your store's admin folder. So if you browse through your store's admin folder you should see the files that you just FTP'd. If you now have 2 admin folders then you haven't installed it correctly.

If you open your admin folder you should see email_history.php, etc. Sometimes files can get corrupted or not uploaded during FTP, so if things aren't working right you should compare the contents of your admin folder with the email archive manager admin folder to make sure that all of the files went to the right place.

Also make sure that you have turned it on in admin->configuration->email options->Email Archiving Active.

    Hope that helps!

    Matt
