EZ Pages question...

I'm trying to use EZ Pages for the first time and I need some information. I found where to change the the "Page 2" text and the text at the top of the box. What I need now is to know how to disable "Page 3 & Page 4". I have just one page that I want to display for now... is there a way to turn these on and off?

Hi everyone... just found the "define page status" in the configuration menu of admin. For anyone who doesn't know, you can turn the pages off and on from there... (hit's self up-side the head)

I may be misremembering, but check in the admin under tools->EZ-pages and see if you can turn them off/delete them in there. I used EZ-pages for the first time recently when I replaced the old Fan Odyssey site (which had outlived its usefulness) with a Zen Cart site. I incorporated some of the old information as EZ-pages under the heading "Past Events".

Isnt it page-define, not ezpage?

Yeah, so it's that one, that's not EZPage. Well, you cant really disable it I think. you can delete it under modules/pages and the language folder and template folder. Too much work.

Well, just dont put them on the navigation bar, ppl are not gonna see them anyway.

Yea, you can turn the pages on and off in the admin. I turned "Page 3 and Page 4" off with no problem. I do have a new problem though.... How do I get rid of the "PAGE 2" at the top of the page and how do I change the title bar in Firefox to be something other than "Page 2" (I figure they are one and the same but not sure).

I wasn't sure if cd was referring to EZ-pages or not. :blink: I really don't remember what was there went I set mine up. :blink:

I prefer page define because I want to show the page name in the link as well.

And there is a superb mod called page define generator that helps you to make new page within seconds.

Yea, I was talking about the EZ-Pages. And I can't remember anything (lol)... Every time I try to do something it's like doing it again for the first time. BAD memory.
