email problems

I'm having a problem sending myself emails through the contact area on my site. it will say email was successful, but their not showing up in my inbox or bulk mail

Are any other emails from the site working? What are your settings in the Admin> Configuration> Email Settings?

i haven't received any from anyone. sometimes they show when i send a testing one and sometimes they don't i have it so they go to my yahoo account.

Yahoo is getting more and more fussy about how emails arrive to them.
If your server is not successfully sending emails to Yahoo, you may find that you need to use a regular email account instead ... ie: one in your domain name.

Does it give all good results? I had my dns reverse failed, I contacted my host, they fixed it for me and now all is well.

it said it's good but i sent a test email from another address and it hasn't made it there
i take that back it did make it there. thanks! :)
