The keyword in the FAQ is contribution - that means it is an optional add-on.

in that case, rewrite the faq to state you need to download and install the contribution before you can go to admin->tools to use it.

I have downloaded mySQL Backup mod but not sure where to put it. The readme says "upload all files from the "admin" folder of this ZIP as-is to your server". Where on the server? Root directory? When I put them there I still don't get a listing under Admin> Tools. I've tried a couple of other places too.

It means upload files contained in the zip to admin folder of your zencart install.says "upload all files from the "admin" folder of this ZIP as-is to your server". Where on the server?

So you mean, the "includes" folder and backup_mysql.php file should end up directly in the shop's admin folder? There's already a folder there called "includes", I don't want to overwrite it.
