How do I display sub category images?

Hi All,
Well I tried so many variations but I cannot figure out on how to display sub category images. Right now when you click on a category name it is just blank (I disabled all specials and new products). It has 7-10 subcategories and each one of them have images, how can I display those images?

we used to have them, but now for some reason they are gone. only thing i can think of is due to an override. but now i forgot how to get them back. did either of you figure it out???
