Made logo to Image map; now white space and blue border.

Hello there,

I have just customized my header, and made the logo into an image map. The first problem is a blue border / outline around that image. And a whitespace appears below logo only in Internet Explorer. Can be seen here:-

I have looked on the forum and internet searches. I know the change must be made in either the stylesheet ot tpl_header, but tried many things to no avail.

You've got two choices on the border.

1. Add border=0 to the img call.
2. add #logoWrapper img {border: 0px} to your stylesheet.

Many thanks for your reply. I tried it but it didn't work. While messing with tpl_header, merging another tpl_header from another template, the space reduced greatly. Although it is still there, but barely noticeable now.

What dbltoe advised you on, the blue border, is now gone. He didn't say anything about the space.

IE6 appears to be choking on some errors you have in the logo and logoWrapper dimensions.
The Firefox Web Developer shows outlines for both of those that don't match the displayed image size, and the #logoWrapper outline overlaps the content below.

You need to get those sorted, whether in header.php or your stylesheet or both I don't know.
