Do you have any idea exactly what the error was or how to duplicate the problem?

click on any product, add it to the cart, then check out.
    you will get(firefox):
    "website certified by unknown authority"
then it says accept permanenty, temporary, or dont accept.

    the certificate is from godaddy.

    thanks,

Your certificate with GoDaddy is not properly installed.

GoDaddy uses a chained root certificate as they are a newer provider of SSL certificates and are not recognized as a valid SSL provider with older browsers.
Their certificates are chained to Starfield Tech.

Well now after trying to add the intermediate certificate from godaddy, i also added their root certificate (there is a spot to do that at my ISP) has resulted in firefox still giving the unable to verify the website.
I decided to reinstall the my certificate and the private key and now when i go to check out the page wont come up even in IE.

the error log shows unable to establish private key?

the isp doesnt have an answer.

    any suggestions?

    thanks,
    ed

What browser versions are you using?
Everything appears to be working fine using the latest Firefox (2.0.0.11) and Internet Explorer (7) in Windows XP.

I have used GoDaddy since March and everything appears to be setup the same way now.

I will see if I get any errors in Linux.
