    help question Paypal returning to login/regist page

    When leaving paypal, it comes back to the login/registration page...which I don't need..

    How do I fix to skip the login/registration page after leaving paypal?

    AND, I have searched high to low..what is the answer to skipping the login/registration piece all together...there isn't a need for customers to signin or register...

    I am having a similiar problem...is this when a customer tries to order? Is it only in IE8 or other browsers?
    My problem is when a customer uses IE8 thier order is not completed and it kicks them to the login page on my site. When I manually do it for them in IE7 (via my wifes computer) it works fine...now if I could figure out how to post this as my own problem...I would be set.
    Any help is appreciated

    I have the same problem too. Zen-cart had no problem transferring data to PayPal and the customer proceeded to PayPal page, however, after he clicked the "Pay Now" button on PayPal, he was returned to the login page of my website, instead of having the transaction processed.

    The order was not processed by zen-cart, he was not charged in PayPal either.

    I spent a day trying to reproduce the error but have no luck at all.

    Not sure if anybody has ever bumped into such problem.

    i think it's maybe paypal checkout setting problem, as if you use paypal express checkout, buyer address need be paypal confirm address or they cant process payment!

    Well I used to process a lot of customers with unconfirmed addresses too, but never encounted such problem. It seems really strange. Not sure if it's session's problem, or PayPal API's problem

    I have been dealing with this but instead of looping to the login, it loops back to the shopping cart and the customer is totally confused (I know I was!).

    In order to complete the transaction after they go to PayPal, login, and click 'continue', they come back to my checkout page where they have to tick the terms box AGAIN and click the Confirm the Order button AGAIN and then it processes the order and the payment.

    I added a lot of text to hopefully direct them without confusing the issue - I hope.

    I am using the FEC mod and one page checkout. Payment modules installed are PayPal EC, QBMS, Check/MO, freecharger - all others not installed (red lights).

    All help is appreciated!

    I also have this problem, been trying to find an answer for 2 months.
    PayPal returns customer to login page without charging. God knows how much custom we've lost through this.
    PayPal blame M$, saying it's an issue with IE8. This does seem to be the case, although I have not been able to replicate the problem. Customers using other browsers seem to be fine, and PayPal says the workaround is to contact all your customers and ask them to use a Mozilla browser. How cr*p is that.
    I'm surprised that there is not more on the subject hereabouts, but in any case, if anyone can show us to the end of the tunnel, I for one will be eternally grateful.
