    Default Database corrupt?? Site down!

But..the table is not corrupted, I checked.

    Here is my error:

    http://www.speedtoys.biz

1194 Table 'sessions' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
    in:
[select value from sessions where sesskey = '517573efd56189b639f978df230322e9' and expiry > '1199057077']

Same thing for the /admin URL attempts.

    ???

Ive even cleared the -1- session that was in the sessions table as well. Same error.

    Ugh..

Did you do a "repair" on the table?

If you can't repair it yourself, you'll need to talk to your hosting company.

Just did -another- 'check tables sessions;' and it was -bad- this time.

    Repaired it..and im all good.

I had..3 people check the very same things before I posted here earlier, and it kept reporting good.

even dropped the table and recreated..

Was the host caching a bit aggressively?

Our server went down sometime after 3am EST this morning. Serverbeach finally got it up and running an hour ago. There was a bunch of errors and they had to go do BIOS checks in safe mode. They say the errors were not a result of anything we did.

However, now all the zencarts on our server have the above error.

I am not good with databases what-so-ever.

Exactly HOW do you repair this? I need step by step instructions.

There is a mod, according to another thread (also from 2007) that said the mod fix cache key worked to fix the problem. However, it is not updated for zencart v1.3.8.

What do I do? This is an emergency - all the carts are down!

I'm assuming you're referring to the "1194 Table 'sessions' is marked as crashed and should be repaired" error?

If so, simply go to your phpMyAdmin, choose your database, choose your "sessions" table, and choose "repair" from the "Operations" tab and click Go.
You might need to do that with all of your tables.
Your hosting company might have a button for "Repair Database" in your hosting control panel, inside your MySql settings, which will do a "repair" on all your tables automatically without having to use phpMyAdmin.

    Hi,

I know this won't help much at the moment but, if you set up a cron job through your control panel in the future, if you experience any problems you can roll back to a previous version of your database.
