That is a horribly slow server ...

Try turning on GZip in the Configuration ... GZip ...

Also, you are running some kind of tracking program ... what happens if you turn that off?

slow doesn't describe it......sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't......and when it does load it takes forever......time to find a new host.

Regardless even of the answer to those questions, if your host is limiting you to 16MB, ask them why that's a problem. As mentioned earlier, 16MB isn't exactly liberal. Most good hosts allow 64MB or more from my experience. Limiting you to 16MB isn't doing you any favors.

For your admin page, you could cut down the number of results per page and that might help limit the processing requirements ... but the default of 20 should be more than adequate. If you've got it set to 100 or more then I could see it using more resources.

For the shopping cart page, sorry, there's not much you can do about it in the code.
    No active attributes.

Tax is a straight percentage for in-state orders.

Admin pages are at default of 20.

Yes, the 16mb cap is discouraging, but seems like I can't change that. I'm looking into other hosts, but am seeing a lot of low memory caps.

    I'll try GZip...

That's Google Analytics. Should that make a difference?

Exactly. What's strange is that my traffic has only barely gone up, but the last two days have been terrible.

I enabled GZip. What exactly is that doing?

It compresses the page before sending to browser....but in your case it doesn't appear to have helped much.......it still takes a long time to appear but now when it does appear.....it sorta pops onto the page....its just the waiting for it to do so which will make the average user think its broken

What does your Admin> Tools> Server Info say for your server load and uptime?
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Seems part of the issue today is HDD problems, which are being address right now, so that explains some of the random loads. However, that doesn't solve my memory issue...
