I actually spent some time to write a total new module to be used just for additional images. It also has the scrolling effect just for fun, hehe. I will pack the code and post it when I have the time.

Is that a yes? I just want to use the banner mod because I currently use image handler 2 which I still enjoy using. Will their be a conflict if I use both.

Should be possible to make it like those on walmart except for the play function. You will need to have it custom made though... You can either post for commercial help or pm me for a quote for this.

@yellow1912: Awesome! you might want to make it work for products with no attributes and can be used with image handler 2, that would be a good complementary for this module. Good luck with that and let me know when its ready.

I have it done, just dont have time to pack things into package yet. It doesnt really care about attribute or not, it just display swappable additional images of each product (which is exactly what I wanted)

I have the ajax installed and working, well sort of. Here is my problem now...

I found a question for it in the faq but it did not help me:

Q: When I go to Admin->Catalog->Ajax Image Swapper Manager there appears to be a problem. No matter which Category I choose, the "Product Name" drop down never populates. It always says "Please select a category first". In addition, clicking on "Clean Up Now" appears to do nothing as well. (Maybe some Javascript is not being loaded?)

A: Have you checked whether you have php5.1 or later version running on your server?

I had that exact same problem on Friday, also on php 5.2, turns out I had missed one of the files I was supposed to copy. I wish I could tell you which file I had missed but I didn't think to write it down.

I've got 9 zen carts with 9 installations of AIS running on my local machine, every time it hasn't worked "out of the box" for me it has been a problem of a missing file or putting it in the wrong level. 99% of the difficulty I've had is simply because I'm installing from a local machine to a local machine instead of using an FTP client which wouldn't overwrite my directories, so I've had to copy and paste each file by hand, but as a result I've become intimately familiar with zen cart's and AIS's directory structure (and how easy it is to think you're inside one level when in fact you're inside another!) Zen cart has several directories called modules, two called includes, several called javascript, several called templates and so on and as it turns out AIS lives in all of these (but only works when it's in the right ones)!

(I should note that the read me says copy all the directories to the root of your zen cart installation, however in my experience you'll need to start at the files inside each parent directory. For example, don't place mootools_on_admin inside your site root, but start at the includes directory inside mootools_on_admin, and so on. Jay may correct me on this, but all the relative paths on the various includes and such do not map all the way out to the parent directories of the AIS folder.)

I have a question regarding the attribute images.... when I add attribute images the main image on the product info page never loads.

Maybe I'm not adding the images correctly...

I select yes for use attributes, select the name and option then add the photo. Repeat the steps for the other options of the attribute. Load the product page, just get the loading symbol where the images should be.

I've checked and rechecked that all files have been uploaded correctly.

Once I switched my attribute from Radio Button to Dropdown, it works perfectly. I didn't see that in the documentation so posting my fix in case anyone else has the same problem
