Ok Kobra, back to my statement... it's a Zen Cart issue!

I checked this thread word for word and I can't get the 'minor changes' yellow mentioned to change all the other listings...

...sorry, I'm not a coder and only a web designer who has to work what you guys give us...

Is it possible to post the actual .php files which we have to change here in this thread WITH the 'minor changes' to get all the other listings to work as one? As far as I can see there are only two files to change and then some coding in the SAME two files?

Then I would be doing your work that you are getting paid for, for you.
Why are you taking a comissioned job for something you can not deliver? If that is the case?
Besides the code is in that thread anyway and I am only one of many volunteers here

I do not see your logic as it is 3rd party...
Kinda like making some modification to your auto engine supplied by GoFast Inc. and contending if it is not correct that it is GM or Ford's issue

First of all, this particular site I have this problem with is NOT a paid job! I actually do graphic design...

Secondly, if Zen Cart had a feature in the Admin where you can set the pages as ONE layout it would've not been necessary for a '3rd party' to FIX the problem!

In other words, I bought a car which is NOT running and I have to get Go Fast Inc. to get it running! That's what this boils down to, Kobra... and I don't want to get involved in an argument about the issue... all I need is to get the issue fixed and unfortunately the explanation on how to do it is not clear...

Actually you got a car for "FREE" that does not have a sun roof and you want one.
The "FREE" car runs as designed for the many that accept it as it is
Secondly, if Zen Cart had a feature in the Admin where you can set the pages as ONE layout it would've not been necessary for a '3rd party' to FIX the problem!
And ZenCart does not portend to have EVERY feature that one may desire.
You say you don't want an arguement but you are throwing "BLAME" around like water and that anything you want needs to be addressed "PRONTO"
There is a "Commercial Help Wanted" forum topic where specific assistance can be asked for.

Zen ver 2.0 will have exactly what you want.

Anyhow, it's free, do not ask for guarantee. People provide support and build stuffs in their free time, when they like it, and when they are asked nicely enough. I firmly believe that if you get anything for free, you don't have the right to whine about not getting enough. You have the RIGHT to to receive this free stuff anyway.

Whenever I ask for help on this forum, I know that I'm asking for a favor. And I will not whine about not getting help, it just happens from time to time. People can be busy, you can always try to ask again, nicely.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me

BTW, the package has been posted in this thread, several pages ago. And someone also commented it has some minor bug, and suggested a patch to fix it.

...yellow, as I've stated before, it's a great thread and thank you very much for trying to fix a 'common' problem with Zen Cart. What I'm trying to say is, and I'm not whining, is why there isn't only ONE layout to begin with? As far as I can see this is not a 'feature' but a layout problem.

Your idea to have ONE layout is crucial because if you choose not to use images (or even with images) the different layouts really doesn't look good!

I KNOW Zen Cart is FREE and I appreciate it... it also triggerd me into the website design field which I do as sideline hobby... and enjoy it.

I followed your instructions but it seems to me I can't find the 'minor changes' which probably are suppose to call the different layouts... help will be appreciated!

I went to your link for the package you have... uploaded the files and I assume I had to run the install.sql?

As I did I get this error:

    #1146 - Table 'artgang_zc2.configuration' doesn't exist

if I'm correct it seems not to read the zen.configuration table...

    Maybe I did something wrong?
