    Hello Yellow1912,

Many thanks for that, sorry, I should have known that. Couldn't see the wood for the trees in the configuration options, but found it now.

    Many thanks,

    Heathenmagic

    Default breadcrumb navigation

I got one! I'm using ZenCart 1.3.8. I love this little tutorial - it's great - working like a charm (and I'm even using the product listing CSS mod too - it's awesome so far. In fact, the mode seems to already have a lot of your tutorial stuff in place - I didn't have to change much!)

However - I've noticed that the All and New pages are doubling up the breadcrumb. Actually tripling - but I went into the header_php.php files for both new and all, and commented out the $breadcrumb line - so now it's only doubling.

Basically, the breadcrumb is showing this:

Shop > All Products > All Products

    instead of this:

    Shop > All Products

    Got any suggestions? Thanks!

I didn't see a way to make this work with the Reviews template. That listing page would require a custom CSS file if this mod doesn't work with it, UGH.

If you understand how it works, you can tweak it to work for any listing. I managed to tweak it to work for xsell products on the product_info page as well.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me

It's weird, did you try to check all the places that breadcrum would be added?

yep, I did - at least all the ones I knew about. It's really odd.

I'm actually working on another (different) site right this exact moment, but as soon as I'm done with it, I'll come back to this one and then tell you the files I've checked to change this.

The *other* site (the one I'm referring to for this question) is actually a *heavily* modified theme I did about 2 or 3 years ago. It was originally running 1.2.6, and the who site was done as a table-based layout. It was also the first ZenCart theme I ever did - so I'd imagine there was a ton of things I could have done better. But I basilcally redid every file to be tableless - the tables were driving me mad, and with the design we had, there was no way I could pull it off with tables. Fast forward to now, and the client wanted the site moved, but the new host wou'dn't accept it because the cart was running 1.2.6, and was full of holes, I would imagine, So I had to quickly update it to 1.3.8 - which of course broke all of my beautiful rewrites. I woudl imagine I'm missing a file *soemwhere* that is causing this. I didn't have ime to redo the entire site - so I've been going through, picking apart everything to update it. There's *probably* an old 1.2.6 file that's causing this issue - but if that's so, I'm going to be hard-pressed to find it.

Upgrading ZenCart should so be easier LOL

but if you happen ot have any ideas on what I could look for (even if it's just an old Constant name or piece of code that I could run through the Developer's Toolkit, that would be an awesome help on it's own.

Hi, i have just installed this mod on a Test site on a local server, and have noticed since installing that the Specials, New Products and Featured product boxes on my homepage all say "New Products For April" in their respective headers.

What have i done wrong? I used the files that are zipped together from http://public.rubikintegration.com/

Everything else seems to be working fine.

Using latest install of ZC, with Column Layout Grid, and Column Divider Pro mods installed also.

    Hi there,

I followed the above and got the All Products page working, but I can't get it to work with the New Products page. Has anyone done this? I could use some help.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Can somebody please post the code for the other pages (everything but the All Products page).

I've got the All products page working fine but the New Products just gives me an error:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'limit 0, 10' at line 1
    in:
    [ limit 0, 10]

    what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks
