Can I make some items pick up only?

Hi I am new here and am not sure if this has been covered but I can't find it. I want to make items that are too heavy to ship in store pick up only items. I am currently using free shipping options, in store pick up, and ups shipping modules. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

What do you want to happen on a mixed cart of pick up only and those that can be shipped?

Do you want to force pickup only and explain they have items that must be picked up?

Allow shipping on items to ship and tell them, oh btw you have to pick these up at the desk?

Do you show/mark the pickup only items in some manner? Is this obvious to the customer?

Yes we do have the items marked in the description. I want people to be able to see everything we have because we have an actual retail store. I was thinking maybe not even have the option to add to cart.

That is what the Call for Price could be used for ...

Change the text and image and voila ... In Store Only ...

Keep in mind that the Call for Price products can do everything a regular Product can except be added to the cart ...

So you can have prices, weights, attributes, etc. etc. etc. ...

I found "Call for price" 2 times and changed them to "In store pick up only"

includes/languages/english.php

Then I changed the graphic to a transparent 1 pixel gif.
