I do not have the website hosted yet
Aren't you using Servage? If your site is using their space, they are your host... whether or not you have the frontend password protected.
If the site isn't hosted, where are you uploading images to? Where do you expect them to display? Running Zen Cart locally (on your C: drive as opposed to the net) is a different kettle of fish.
I did strip off the image location, Glenn, but that doesn't look like a ZC site (could be, but I can't be sure) and it's password protected, so I can't get in to look at what might be the issue.

It appears to be http://uk-hypnotherapy.eu/ ... which appears to still have the issue reported in a separate thread which the poster has allowed to go dormant: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=84050
It could be that their FTP program is mangling files and thus the normal expected behavior is failing in multiple places.

OK OP let me have access and everything with this particular issue is sorted out now. Basically it was a matter of getting lost in your own directories. Multiple subdomains with multiple instances of cart files......you know the drill....even had me confused for a bit once I got in there.
