Very weird styling issue in IE7 - need help desperately!

Hi Everyone,

(Happy new year by the way).

I need a CSS expert to take a glance at my site and tell me what's happening with my side boxes in IE7.

I have them surrounded with a border that works throughout my site in both IE and FF, but crumbles apart on the left hand side of the border when viewing any Zencart pages in IE.

It's almost as if the background of the sideboxes leaks over the left hand side, but even more strange is that when you select the code to view the source, the borders re-appear again.

I've only just started with Zencart a few days ago and the site is nowhere near finished, but I fear it will never be unless this problem is resolved.

Anyone got any suggestions?

P.S. I'm off to pour myself a whisky and coke and chill out away from the computer screen for 30 minutes as I've been working on my ZenCart non-stop for over 12 hours!!!! Anyone who wants to join me must bring either cigarettes, ice or a CSS expert!

Since, I only have PC IE6, FF on Mac at the moment, I can't see your IE7 problem. Works pretty well, actually, on my machine.

If you don't get a quick answer here on a holiday, you might want to jump over to the experts at csscreator.com and see what they say. They will want to see ALL your css before answering, so include the urls of both a page and the css.

Before you do, complete your ref to the IE version in your 3rd paragraph ----

Many thanks for taking the time to check out the site and for giving me advice about the CSS forum for advice.
If I do not get any replies within a couple of days, I will certainly head over there and see if they can help.
