Default Display Product Add to Cart Button Not Working

I am trying to add the Display Product Add to Cart Button. Should be easy enough ...?

    I have set the following options;
    - Display Product Add to Cart Button to 2
    - Turned OFF Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status (so that I can use Option 2 on with Qty Box per Product)

I'm not sure if this ever worked so could be a bug in the template that I am using. However, when these settings are activated, nothing changes on the page, no add to cart button, no qty button.

Got any idea where I can look?

Have you an URL to your site?

Did you try switching to the Classic Template to see if this might be related to your current template?

    Hi Ajeh,

The URL to the website is Week end BreaksDOTcomDOTau. If you look at any of the product listings, there is only the details and the price. They don't have the add to cart and quantity. Although the values are set.

It is definately our template as I changed it back to the default one to test and the functionality worked.

Any ideas on where to look or things to try?

I have the same problem. I installed 'column grid' layout for product listing recently. At first it seem to work fine. but this problem happen after I keep changing the setting.

I have tried to switch template back to classic but the problem still exist. Here is my 'product listing' setting.

Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product) 2

Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location 3

    Display Product Description 350

Where did your "theme029" template come from?

The product listing is driven by several pieces:
    /includes/modules/pages/index/header_php.php
    /includes/index_filters/default_filter.php
    /includes/templates/your_template_name/templates/tpl_index_product_list.php
    /includes/modules/your_template_name/product_listing.php
    /includes/templates/your_template_name/templates/tpl_modules_product_listing.php
    /includes/templates/your_template_name/common/tpl_tabular_display.php
    ... and so on

I have compared all these files against the original files. They all are identical. Is there any other file that we should go to check?

Do all of your products have Attributes? With Attributes, the Product is purchased on the Product _info page ...

Yep. I have tested it by install a new zencart with demo products to the test server.
Even the 'classic' template wont show 'Add to cart' button if the products have attributes.

In this case, Document products (by default must use attribute) like my website won't have 'Add to cart' button.

Is there any posibility to set default attribute to the product in order to display 'Add to cart'?
