New rates for UPS

I have searched the forums and I have not seen this particular instance. Still kind of a newbie with ZenCart - I am taking the "If it isn't broke, don't fix it aproach."
According to UPS, they will have new rates as of December 31, 2007.
Our site is using the basic UPS module that shipped with ZenCart. Will this module pull the new rates? Or will we have to manually adjust the settings?
We are using ZenCart version 1.3.0.2

Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, the Zencart UPS module pulls the rate info directly from UPS. so you should be OK. I don't remember having to do anything at the last rate increase, anyway.

Actually guys, I am constantly seeing cases where when we go to ship products using UPS, the total charges including fuel surcharges, etc are noticeable higher than what we quoted the customer using the UPS module in ZenCart.

This discrepancy should not be occurring if what you say about pulling in the latest rates is true. How can I verify that these rates are being pulled correctly in my ZC install?
