Paypal and download problems

I've been having problems since my store opened with downloads when a customer makes a payment through paypal. I only have the zen cart freecharger and the paypal IPN modules switched on. All my products in store are all virtual so an instant download is needed. There are no problems at all with free items with the zen cart freecharger but when a customer pays through paypal they don't seem to be getting their instant download. I have the IPN module set up like this:

Set Pending Notification Status
Pending [1]

Set Order Status
Processing [2]

Set Refund Order Status
Pending [1]

I did try to change it to delivered in the first boxes but it didn't work, this is what it said:

they just aren't getting their downloads but i'm receiving the payment. Can anyone help, sorry if i'm not explaining this right, i've been trying to fix this and been trawling through the forum for hours and had no luck at all. I can't test to see if it works because obviously it says that I can't pay money to my own email paypal account and if I set up a new account I don't own a card. I've tried to test it with a friend who has purchased items that i've put up for $0.02.

PayPal status: Pending multi_currency

This means the order was placed in a currency that isn't enabled in your PayPal account, or you have set your account to require you to manually approve transactions placed in certain currencies. PayPal is telling you that the order is "pending". You don't have money for it yet (you haven't accepted it), so the download isn't released to your customer.

You need to go and approve the transaction in your PayPal account.

I've gone into my paypal account and set it so that it automatically converts the currencies into GBP do you think that will fix the problem? is there a way of automatically accepting payments in the paypal settings or do you think what i've done already is enough?
