i set up my store and everything worked fine
i got someone to install a template etc
anyhow before the install of the emplate i installed pay pal website payments in zen cart i checked out and it was fine
now
last night this is the error a customer gets

1054 Unknown column 'Zen_order_id' in 'field list'
In:
[SELECT Zen_order_id, paypal_ipn_id, payment_status, txn_type, pending_reason FROM Zen_paypal WHERE txn_id = '' OR parent_txn_id = '' ORDER BY Zen_order_id DESC ]


this error is after payment has processed
it doesnt send the customer back to the store just to this blank page

we recive the payment on our end in pay pal also
but the cart doesnt show a processed payment for the customer


PLZ PLZ help me find this line what i need to edit or add

What version of Zen Cart are you using?
What addons/contributions have you installed?

It seems that you're using an old version of a PayPal module or addon with a newer version of Zen Cart.

I just received the exact error message and I am running v1.3.8. Any ideas. I've checked my Instant Payment Notification Preferences & Website Payments Preferences set your Automatic Return URLs and they are correct. I've also checked my API username, password, ect.. and they are also correct.

If you're getting the same exact error message, then you're not running pure v1.3.8 code. You've got an old file running somewhere.

Any suggestions on how to locate? I did a fresh install of 1.3.8.

You said you "received an error message" ... perhaps you can describe "where" you saw it ... on what page, after doing what action?

But ... the thing is ... if "one" of your files isn't up-to-date, how do you know that all the 'rest' aren't similarly outdated?

Also, what version information do you see in Admin->Tools->Server Info?

I receive the error "1054 Unknown column 'Zen_order_id' in 'field list'" after the 3rd step(confirm order) of the checkout process. The order does get processed, but Paypal's confirmation page never displays.

Zencart version 1.3.8
Database version 1.3.8
It says below that Zencart version 1.3.8 (fresh installation)
