Question about UPS Shipping

I'm getting close to completing my store, and I've just completed the UPS shipping setup. However, I'm a little concerned with the shipping amounts for the products. They seem to be a lot to me. Please take a look the store (still in testing), and check out the shipping quotes. You can use the "Estimate Shipping" button to get the amount. What are your thoughts... Do they seem to be very high... Is something wrong? Thanks.

Did you peek at the Shipping/Packaging and set your Tare weights? The default is 3lbs ...

Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight = 0:1

What are all the settings on your UPS set to?

UPS shipping rates are high I try to use the US post office when I can. I wonder if they would be lower if you had an account with UPS?
