Shipping Rates per Manufacturer?

Hi Zenners!
I was wondering if anyone has seen a mod that allows for different shipping rates for different manufacturers?

I have a few drop ship sites and would like to be able to set shipping zone rates PER manufacturer.

anyone seen something like this or also have a need for something similar, or workaround going?

ZenCart does not offer shipping per category or manufaturer at this stage. xmodules.com might have a solution but it's not free. Alternatively, you can set up the shipping based on zone rate. This means for some orders, you will make more profit and some you will make a loss. Hope this helps. Good luck.
