How many languages are you using?

Did you have 3 or remove one?

Just 2 (Eng/SP). But I had to tinkered with the Sp mod. It still is not correct as I get a yellow highlighted message in admin saying "MISSING LANGUAGE FILES OR DIRECTORIES ... Spanish Spanish"

I tinkered because when I installed the Sp mod and selected the flag, I was getting code and not the translated text. Now it works great.

It looks to me, despite the teeny weeny image that you have extra rows in your database table for at least the products_options table ...

I am not sure what other tables that manage things by language might also be messed up ...

I would literally have to go through your database to find these and fix them in a language I know nothing about ...

    Backup your database ...

Look at your languages and you will see that they are assigned values like language_id 1 and language_id 2 ...

In your tables that also address language these should be the only values in the tables ...

If you have no clue what so ever on how to clean database tables ... you may wish to PM me to make arrangements for some private consulting work ...

I backed up the db and the site. I then exported the product_options_name table. With every option name I had, it created 3 language_id's.

Since I don't know too much about MySQL and did not have that many option names, I deleted all the option names from the sites. I then looked again at the db and it was empty. OK. The I created two option names and checked again. It created 3 language_id's. The problem must be in the spanish mod. I really would hate to lose it.

Being very new at this, I need to ask alot questions. Being already completely backed up, can I reinstall Zen and use the same database? If so, what files do I not use when I copy the backup to the newly installed zen cart install?

Or perhaps there is a better solution. I don't want to lose the work I have already done.

Look at the languages table in your database ...

If you browse, how many records are in there?

Look at the languages_id what numbers are associate with what language?

Look at the products_description table ...

Browse it and sort on products_id ... how many records do you have for each products_id? Do you see 2 or 3?

I saw 3. Even after I removed all the option names and started over, it created 3 entries. Since this was a new setup, I decided to just start from scratch with I study up on MySQL and PGP. Thanks for your help as I would never have ventured in the database area, nor known where to look.
