Can I remove the HTML/Text Only options?

We use Constant Contact to send our newsletters and I was wondering if I could remove the HTML and Text Only radio buttons from the form on the account registration page. All I need is the checkbox that signs them up for the list. How do I accomplish this?

You mean you don't want to allow your customers the choice of format in which to receive their order-confirmation emails, etc?

We send emails out of Constant Contact and we don't have a text only version. Basically if you have text only email you are directed to click a link where you can view the "email" in your browser.

I wasn't asking about your newsletters.
I was referring to emails sent by your store, such as order-confirmation receipts etc.

ah... perhaps I just need to add some language there as I wasn't thinking about order emails etc. To me it just looks like a newsletter signup section (even though it says email details)
