I already have a site up and running using Interakt's (now part of Adobe) suite of e-commerce products. As all support from Interakt has ceased, I'm looking to move on and have come across Zen Cart which looks quite impressive. So, I've downloaded version 1.38 but before I install it I just wanted to know what would be the best of uploading to the web host as it will be sharing the server with my existing site for the time being. Is it better to create a subdirectory like "zencart.mysite" or rather "mysite/zencartfolder" ? What are the advantages/disadvantages of each option ?
