Hi - useful mod....many thanks..
I have a query with this - I have it working fine on a couple of "3-page chapters" - but on the third one it fails to show the pages 2 & 3 of the chapter...
I would add that there is no actual content in the pages 2 & 3 - just an internal link to different pages...
Is it a requirement to have content in the pages to trigger the TOC ?
Of course - I cannot have content and link at the same time - and the link is what I would like the ez-page to do....
Any thoughts ?

Have you given page 2 & 3 a sort for the TOC?

Is it an internal page? One that comes standard with Zen Cart, ie: Contact Us, Privacy Notice, etc. If it's a html page that you've uploaded to your server, that would be an external link.

Yes...

3 x ezpages all set to same chapter number
Page 1 TOC = 1
Page 2 TOC = 2
Page 3 TOC = 3

One that comes standard with Zen Cart, ie: Contact Us, Privacy Notice, etc.

None of these ezpages have any content - only used as internal links...
I did have it in mind to put some of the standard cart links from ezpage links - but this has made me rethink...

I can only get these pages to show if I create a link on an ezpage - which then of course takes me to the ezpage with that link - rather than direct to that link's target...
I am trying to achieve a "main" menu with ezpage sidebox - with "submenu" items only showing as and when necessary in the TOC sidebox - but this seems to be not possible...

The TOC works on Pages, not on Links ...

Not a bad idea to incorporate something for those, but would have to give it some thought on navigation and placement to really work those in ...

For now, you could make a page with some text and the Link on it ...

Yes - it took me a whle to work that out...

I can see this mod being very useful when creating extra pages - and keeping the navigation relevant to the location.
Of course this was possible without the mod - but being able to remove the "TOC Box" from the pages is a real big improvement.

Yes - I thought I had found the ideal way to have relevant sub-menus available only when the parent menu had been selected...
A simple menu / submenu like that is a great idea - and works really fine - if there is content in the destination linked (as you know...)

Yes - I did try that - but it sort of defeats the object ?- another layer just where you don't want it....
For now - I will just create the ezpage links and leave them in the normal ezpage sidebox (without TOC) - should be easy enough to adjust if it later becomes possible to have them work directly on a link...

That is the beauty of plug-n-play where copy and go works best ...

Any time something can be made without touching any of the core files and life will be easier ...
