Group Discounts

I would like the ability to easy exclude some products from group discounts.


For example Gold membership costs $80 for 1 year and gives 75% discount
and platinum membership costs $200 lifetime and gives 100% discount.

then a smart customer would order the gold membership for $80 and then only pay $50 for the liftime platinum which would mean the customer only paid $130 dollars instead of the 200 intended.

Is there a mod, or a setting or a step-by-step guide that can help me with this.

You'd think that you could do this in Product Type.

Sounds like a new Zone.

In the end you should be the one to assign the Discount to the Client rather than the cart.

Certainly if I bought a bronze membership and wanted the Gold then you should charge the difference. It is ok to tell your clients NO you cannot do that.

I'd like to know why my group discount for dealers is adding the discount back into the total?

Story Problem time boys and girls:

Dealer "A" buys $1000 worth of Products. He gets a 25% discount on the products ($250) and the new total calculates in his cart when he logs in.

Inside the Admin it clearly shows the discount as a positive instead of a negative. I have to add a negative symbol and update the admin page and also double check the math including shipping to make sure I did not rob myself.

So the $1000 - 250= $750 becomes $1000 + 250 + 250 = $1500 in the admin detail. Not funny.

Group name= Dealer
% Discount = 25.00

What is the next step?
