I have installed ZC 1.3.8 onto a linux server hosting package. I have used ZC 1.3.7 previously, but have just changed hosting companies, so am setting it all up again (my new hosting company recommends ZC but is not ZC approved, but they have given me a 3 month free no obligation unlimited space & bandwidth trial). Take a look and you'll see the problem (I hope) www.madcomputers.co.uk I have checked in the admin area and the standard classic template should be in use. I have deleted the full install, and started again from scratch and still get the same problem.
Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Never heard of them - perhaps do a search on the forum to see if anyone else has had a problem.

I've had a good look around the forums (for an hour or so) but couldn't find anyone else with the same problem. I copied the extracted files from the download package. Uploaded them, and went to madcomputers.co.uk/shop/zc_install, and followed the wizard. Originally Posted by Kim

First, follow the instructions given in the Error msg. at the top of your page.
Your other problem seems to be with your 'images' dir. and/or the whole path.
These both give a 500 error msg. when they should not:

Could be the images are corrupted and need to be reuploaded. A 500 error msg. is not the normal error msg. for images; for scripts yes, but not images. Might be permission problems so you should check those as well.
includes/templates/classic/images/
Check both, 'classic' and the 'images' dir. which should be 755 and all files within them should be 644.
