Simple info new coders need to know

If your like me You will want to come in and start changing and writing new code to make things do what You want them to do. who ever are running this project has really had some zen moments the design is beautiful!

as we know upgrading Your cart is essential to rid the bugs. when You make changes You will see a empty class folder (i think it has one file in it) Zen-Cart will load this folder first so when You make change to a file like english.php leave the one untouched and put the changed one in the class folder, so when You upgrade, the changes You have made will not be affected because the class folders do not get upgraded.

When ever possible make changes to the css when hard coding has to be done out side of a class folder make a note folder put it in root so the next person knows what to look for.

If You disregard this point Your reputation will be hurt when Your client upgrades Zen-Cart

If you create your own custom template and follow the overrides system, you'll have no problem doing upgrades later.
