Stock Status Mod needed

Hello Zenners,
I would like some help in finding a module that informe stock status for all products.

The mod should work only for products not for attributs, and the main propouse is to put a simple text message (or image) near the cart button, saying one of the following:

- In Stock
- 2-3 Days
- 4-5 Days
- No stock Availble


The ideia is to informe the client when he's viewing the product in listing or in the product info display.

It would be nice to have a admin configuration, inside the product edit/insert, with an option near the existing two options in Products Status: "In Stock" and "Out of Stock".
I would like to add some more to the existing ones!

Also another issue, is that possible that when a product have a future "Date Available" it would show in the product itself.
It seems that the only reason that this option exists is for the "Future Products" mod !?!?!
It would be nice, if a product is only availble in a month later, it would show in the main product display.

This is problably an option to add to the mod that i intented to find, simply add one more option : "Stock in date expected"

I found some mods that are around this issue, but the people seem to have more interest in the atributs, not in the product itself. Also found a useless mod that had no instrutions and no core files, simply images "stock_level_indicator_in_product_listing_1.0" and it did no help at all.
I wonder if it ever helped anyone?!

Yes, I need something like this. I need something to show on my product pages so customers know how many of each color, size, etc are in stock. It's frustrating to a customer to go through the checkout process to see a warning about not in stock. They are going to think the item is not in stock without knowing the qty they entered was too high....

You might be able to use the How-To: Add new Properties to your Products thread to add a field for this, and then modify tpl_product_info_display.php or a related file to set its value according to the stock level and display it.

Or it might not even be necessary to add a new field, but modify the sql query to get the actual stock level if it doesn't already, and add a calculation to display appropriate outputs based on this.
