    Default cannot add products

    i am setting up my first zen site

    I cannot add a new product. I have categories set up, but when I am in the catalog -> categories/products section and click 'new product' I get a page not found error.

    any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    If this is a new install, try reloading the /admin files and directories as you may just have some bad, missing or otherwise corrupt files from your initial FTP of the files to your site ...

    thanks for the response

    while copying files as you suggested, I noticed the problem.

    When I created the product types, I changed the handler page from products_music to products_hats. I just switched it back and can now see a product page with music attributes. I did not have a products_hats page and that was the cause of the error

    I switched the handler to products and am using that

    Don't do that ... the names relate to the files and you break the relationship ...
