How to remove space between header & main text?

Could someone please tell me how to remove the white space and the links between the bottom of my header logo and the start of my main page text.

I have added a screenshot with the area I would like to remove marked in red...

That is the categories-tabs menu.

You can turn it off in Configuration > Layout Settings.

Sorry for bringing up this old thread, but I didn't want to start a new thread when this one covers exactly my problem - still, it didn't work for me.

My template is based on the "classic" one, just different colours basically.

I also wanna reduce the same gap as the thread starter here, but when I do as "Marg" suggests above, it only reduces the space for the logo, not the gap - the gap is still there, but the logo get's cut, and that's not really what I'm after. Is there another way for doing this?

I'm attaching a screenshot of how it looks now. The red area is what I want to remove. Or at least, reduce in size.



Truly greatful for some help here.
