How do you remove bits from the advanced search

Hi there,

I would like to remove "limit by manufacturer" and "search by date added" from the advanced search function.

I've had a good hoke round the forum but can't find what I need.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

As far as I know, you can't do it on the backend.

But you could easily edit the file -- includes> templates > tpl_advanced_search_default.php

just make sure to copy it over to your custom template file first...
