Attributes have disappeared on my front-end

Hi,
I've recently installed the module 'product with attributes stock'.
After testing this module i encountered quite a few problems, so i decided to remove all files associated.
Since i've done that, my attributes don't appear anymore on my front-end!
When i preview my product info from the back-end my attributes appear ok.

Does anyone have any ideas for this one.

The Products with Attributes Stock module is rather old and not compatible Zen Cart 1.3 and later. What version of Zen Cart are you running?

Sorry i actually meant 'stock_by_attributes_v4_5'.

As i was saying, my attributes don't appear anymore on my front-end!
When i preview my product info from the back-end my attributes appear ok.
Whilst on my product info display page my attribute drop down menus do appear, but mothing appears inside them.

Do you have any ideas?

I think that Stock by Attributes is a red herring here.

If your attributes look OK in the Admin side of your site that says that your database is OK. Not that stock by attributes changes any attribute data anyway, it merely adds a new table alongside it.

So attention focusses on your modules/attributes.php file which extracts the information from the database and your templates/tpl_modules_attributes.php file which displays the information on your product_info page. Stock by Attributes goes nowhere near either of these files. But that's where I recommend focussing your attention.

Have you made any changes to either of these files? Have you installed any other mods that might have changed them? If not, I'd recommend comparing them with the versions in a clean release of Zen Cart. And, by the way, what version of Zen Cart are you using?

The problem did indeed come from modules/attributes.php.
I put my backup file back online, then everything was ok.

I am trying to get my Advanced Attributes Controller Mod working.

The option dropdowns are not working. The Names and Values are not being pulled up.

If I replace attributes_controller.php with the original it appears that nothing is wrong.

I also have installed products with attribute stock.

I tried replacing modules/attributes.php
with one from the fresh install.
nothing changed.

What should I try next?

Oh the difference I have then the one mentioned prior

is that I have the exact reverse problem.

My attributes are showing just fine on the cart side.

On the admin side I cannot select from the menu of Attribute Names or Values in the Attribute Controller (The Advanced version - when I put back the original file it works fine...) I am just dying to use the Alternate file...
