You might want to take a look at some of the code. In the text and css you have an id for whatsnew and whatsNew. Both show in the source for your main page.
Traditional use of code would indicate that whatsNew would be correct but don't know for sure. Do know that you can't use an id twice. Class can be used many times but would need to be consistent in spelling and case.
If you use firefox with the firebug and html Tidy Validator, you'll be able to catch things that will break IE.
