admin login error

I just finished moving my site onto its newer server so I can have php 5 support for another project... Ive tried reloading all sitefile and db twice... Everything seems to work perfect except for my admin login every time I try to login it loads then just resets the page so i tried other passwords incase for some reason i changed it this week but was and am 100% sure i didnt change and every password I tried besides one I know it is would come back with "You entered the wrong username or password." So that makes me even more sure the my original password is still stored somewhere but it just wont let me in.. I tried reseting password and system sent me a new password by email and still same problem loads but wont let me in and just resets? Please can anyone help?

Is the config.php under admin/config.php set to the correct settings for the server including the right database settings, or is it set to the old stuff?

Do you mean admin/includes/config.php I didnt see any settings in admin/configuration.php

I checked and double checked they are right settings

all setting are correct but now i did relize when clicking some products the following i must of missed "1054 Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause'" sounds like my db may be corropt but I am unsure what it actually means.....

could you give more info on that error like what table it is occuring under?

Ok I looked around more and it seems since Im using the old zencart 1.2.7 and now have a newer version of MYSQL they dont play well together but I didnt see any real fixes besides upgrade zencart version. Although in there next 6 months I will be having the entire site completly redone and on most current zen version Im not ready for it yet is there any easy way that I can gain access to my admin and get the sit to work with out upgrading Right Now ?

I think you'll have to go back to the 1.2.7 sql, are you going to be able to do this. How much upgrading have you done?

you mean to 1.2.7 Zencart? Or IS 1.2.7 MYSQL the version thats compatible with zencart 1.2.7?

I'm thinking go back to sql 1.2.7 if that is the cart version you have. I'm not sure if this is even feasible for you at this point, what about upgrading the whole cart since you plan on doing so soon anyhow. Some people have run into various problems upgrading, but it is relatively painless and a worthwhile learning experience.
