I just tried to access my admin but its telling me I've entered a wrong username or password. Can anyone tell me how I get round this?

I followed your tutorial and it hasn't helped. Logging in just seems to direct me to the login page again, so I overwrote the admin folder & it's still doing it.
Any other suggestions?

You originally said it was telling you that you were using a bad username or password.

Yes. It no longer tells me I'm using the wrong info. It just gives me the login page again. I've looked at FILENAME_DEFAULT in case it was changed but it's still defined as index.
Any ideas?

Followed your second tutorial & clearing my browsers cache worked...... until I tried to login to the other cart I'm working on (that I've only just installed today & moments later this issue started).
Does this mean that I'll need to work on different carts in new browser windows? I'm using a tabbed browser so I've just been opening the pages I need in different tabs.

So I now know what the problem is. I need to clear my browser cache every time I want to login to a different admin. This is going to be a real pain. Does anyone have any suggestions to get around this?

What version of PHP?
Is this running on a live webserver or your own local PC/server?.
